In order to use a garbage disposal you will need the optional flange. We recommend the drain cover if you do not wish to have the drain opening visible. It will sit on the drain but will not hold water in.

What is the best (easiest) way to clean the rinse grids?

You can clean your rinse grid with Bar Keeper's Friend. You can also soak and clean your rinse grid in a 50/ 50 water-vinegar solution. You will need at least enough water to submerge the grid. When drying the rinse, please it upside down.

The rinse grid is not dishwasher safe, the bumpers and feet might fall off while washing.
