How do I install a disposal?

To install a disposal you will need to use a disposal flange instead of the included RVA1025 drain assembly. If your disposal does not come with a flange, you will need to purchase one separately that fits into a 3.5" drain opening and is compatible with your disposal.

Is the bottom grid dishwasher safe?

You can clean the rinse grid in the dishwasher, however, hand washing is recommended. We recommend cleaning the steel grid with Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser and soaking the rubber bumpers and feet in a 50/50 water vinegar mix for about 15 minutes. Flip the rinse grid upside down after use to allow water to drain out of the bumpers and feet.

This sink can only be installed as an undermount. The sink flange is not wide enough to install it as a topmount/drop-in.

Ruvati stainless steel sinks and accessories are made of T-304 Grade Stainless Steel which is i mpossible to rust under normal conditions . However, stainless steel will absorb rust from other materials that are kept on it. You can clean your rinse grid with liquid Bar Keeper's Friend and soak the feet and bumpers in a 50/ 50 water-vinegar solution.  You will need at least enough water to submerge the grid.  When drying the rinse grid, we recommend placing the grid upside down; this will remove the water from the feet and bumpers.
