Is it ok to dump boiling water into the sink?

Our granite composite sinks are designed to withstand temperatures up to 536°F. However, to prevent thermal shock (a sudden temperature change that can stress the material) we recommend allowing boiling water to cool before pouring it into the sink. Alternatively, running cold water at the same time can help buffer the temperature and protect the surface.

Is the white sink solid white or is it speckled?

The sink is made of 80% crushed granite, you will see speckles of granite when looking at the sink closely.

Is this sink compatible with workstation accessories from the RVH model line?

The workstation accessories from the RVH sinks are not compatible with this sink because the front-to-back dimensions of the sinks are different.

What part(s) do I need to install a garbage disposal to this sink?

You cannot connect a garbage disposal to the drain that comes with the sink. In order to use a garbage disposal you will need a flange. Our model number is RVA1049ST. The drain opening is a universal size therefore you could also use the flange that comes with your garbage disposal.

Can the sink be installed in reverse, with the drain on the left?

Because this sink is an undermount you are able to install with the drain to the left or right.
