All Ruvati fireclay sinks are 100% made in Italy. Italy is one of the few regions in the world where true natural fireclay is found. Similar looking ceramic sinks from Asia may be marketed as fireclay, but are actually made of vitreous china which doesn’t have the strength and durability of true fireclay. To ensure precision and durability, the raw white clay is fired at an extremely high temperature of 2900 degrees Fahrenheit as the surface of the sink fuses with the interior. The end result is a powerful finish resistant to chips, cracks, and other abrasions. In addition to the strength and practicality of fireclay, workstation sinks maximize the functionality of your kitchen by adding built-in accessories that slide on integrated tracks in the sink.
